Loop Subscriptions is $99 to $399 a month plus a percentage. Daima is $9.99 flat.

Both apps ship a polished subscription experience for Shopify merchants. Loop charges 0.75% to 1.0% per transaction on top of the monthly fee. Daima Pro charges nothing per transaction. Here's what that means at $1K, $10K, and $50K MRR.

The math

What you actually pay at $1K, $10K, and $50K MRR.

Loop's transaction fee is lower than most competitors — 1.0% on Starter, 0.75% on Pro, with no per-order surcharge. Daima Pro's fee is zero. The numbers below assume a $50 average order value.

Monthly recurring revenue Daima Pro Loop Starter¹ Loop Pro²
$1,000 / mo20 orders $9.99 $109$99 + $10 $406.50$399 + $7.50
$10,000 / mo200 orders $9.99 $199$99 + $100 $474$399 + $75
$50,000 / mo1,000 orders $9.99 $599$99 + $500 $774$399 + $375

The crossover for Loop is at the feature line, not the price line. If you need dedicated CSM support, 24/7 Slack support, prepaid/gift subscriptions, or API/webhook access, Loop Starter doesn't include those — you'd be on Loop Pro at $399/mo + 0.75% regardless of MRR. Daima Pro includes gift subscriptions, custom CSS, and priority support at $9.99/mo flat.

  1. ¹ Loop Starter: $99/mo + 1.0% per transaction. Verified from Shopify App Store and loopwork.co/pricing on 2026-04-27.
  2. ² Loop Pro: $399/mo + 0.75% per transaction. Same sources. Includes dedicated CSM and 24/7 Slack support — features Daima does not currently offer.

Feature trade-offs

What each app actually does.

Loop and Daima have meaningful overlap. Below: the honest split — what each ships, what each gates, where the trade-offs live.

Loop has, Daima doesn't

Honest list. These are real features Loop ships that Daima currently doesn't.

  • Dedicated Customer Success Manager (Pro tier, $399/mo)
  • 24/7 Slack support channel (Pro tier)
  • Prepaid subscriptions (pay-up-front, deliver-monthly)
  • User permissions & audit logs (multi-team stores)
  • Multilingual customer portal
  • Established review profile (4.9★, 633 reviews on Shopify App Store)
Daima has, Loop doesn't

Reverse split. Features in Daima's $9.99 Pro plan that Loop doesn't ship at any tier.

  • Built-in affiliate program with HMAC-signed dashboard
  • Churn prediction with 0–100 risk scoring per subscriber
  • A/B testing for widget variants (13 settings)
  • Loyalty tiers (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) with stacking bonuses
  • Custom CSS injection for the widget & portal
  • Flat $9.99/mo with zero transaction fees at any volume

Loop is a great app. So is Daima. The difference is what shows up on your monthly bill as your store grows.

Honest answer

Where Loop is the right call.

Loop earned 4.9 stars across 633 reviews. Their merchants love them, and we're not going to argue with that. Some scenarios where Loop genuinely fits better than Daima:

Stay on Loop if

  • You need a dedicated CSM and 24/7 Slack support — that's a real Loop Pro feature and a real ongoing cost. Daima doesn't currently offer that level of support.
  • Your subscription model depends on prepaid (annual-in-advance) subscriptions, which Loop ships and Daima doesn't yet.
  • You run a multi-team store and need user permissions and audit logs to govern who can edit subscription rules.
  • You want a vendor with thousands of merchants already using the same product. Daima is newer and proudly small.

Switch to Daima if

  • You want affiliate, loyalty tiers, A/B testing, and churn prediction without paying for a separate stack of apps.
  • You'd rather spend $9.99/mo flat than $99–$399/mo plus a percentage that scales with your revenue.
  • You're under the size where dedicated CSM matters and you'd rather have predictable software than negotiated support.
  • You like working with smaller teams that ship features without a quarterly roadmap meeting.

If you're switching from Loop

Migration is support-assisted via CSV. Export your subscriber list from Loop, email it to [email protected], and we import the data into Shopify's Subscription Contracts where Daima can manage them. Subscribers stay on the same billing cadence they had with Loop. Typical timeline is one to two business days from CSV receipt to live import.

You can also install Daima alongside Loop on a development store first, to compare both apps on test subscription data before you commit. There's no setup fee on Daima and no migration fee.
